Problem with Ball, Club or Grip?

Question:

Feeling vibration when making contact with the ball, is this a problem with my grip, the ball or my clubs?

Answer:

The vibration is a result not hitting the sweet spot on the clubface. I suggest you work on your swing path through the ball; you will either be hitting it off the toe or the heel of the club.
  1. If you are making contact off the heel of the clubface, concentrate on loosening your grip/arm pressure and allow the club head to rotate through the ball. This will allow the club to release, which in-turn will result in the ball contact the center of the clubface thus reducing vibration.

  2. If you are contacting the ball off the toe of the clubface, ensure you are not standing too far away from the ball. Next, feel the sensation of swinging the club out away from you through the ball. This will result in a more in-to-out swing path which will keep the club traveling down the target line and eliminate the toe of the club being pulled into the golf ball.

Good luck.
