Question:
Using a driver, if your ball was in the center of your stance club face square to target line, feet hips shoulders parallel to target everything would be perfect. But using a driver you ball is forward inside your front heel, now your club and club face is at and angle slightly to the left, do you adjust your stance to square up club face to target? And if so, you're not swinging true to your target line. Can you please clarify for me?
Answer:
Good question. To keep your body lines square to the target as you move the ball forward in your stance, there must be more tilt of your spine backwards. You may feel a more pronounced lift of your front shoulder toward the sky to keep them square to the target.
This promotes more of a shallow angle (into the ball) and keeps your head behind the ball, which is desirable with your driver off a tee.
Hope this clarifies keeping everything square!
